Let's begin making ice cream cake!

Start by pre heating your oven to 175 degrees.

Meanwhile use the baking spray to grease two 8-inch round cake pans.

It's time to add the dry ingredients. Take a bowl and throw in some flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Grab another bowl and cream some butter and sugar in it. This should be done using an electric mixer. Soon your butter and sugar will become light and fluffy.

Now, add in the wet ingredients. Add an egg, vanilla extract, oil or butter, and mix, mix, mix.

Now add in the dry ingredients slowly and gradually, alternating with the milk. Combine it well, but don't over mix!

Pour into pans and divide evenly between prepared cake pans; smoothing tops with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of one of the cakes comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes..

Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Allow the ice cream to soften at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes until soft, but not melted, and easily spreadable.

Once the cakes are completely cooled, place one cake layer on a serving plate or cake stand. Evenly cover the cake with one flavour of softened ice cream.

Use a spatula to spread it and smooth out the top.

Freeze the cake for about 1-2 hours in order to firm it.

Once the first layer of ice cream has set, spread the second flavour of ice cream-softened over it.

Use a spatula to smoothen the top, and place the cake into the freezer for another couple of hours.

Now refrigerate the mixing bowl and beaters for a few minutes.

Bring it out, and whip the cream in the chilled bowl. If you use the electric mixer, results will be better.

Continue whipping the cream until it achieves thickness.

Now slowly add powdered sugar and vanilla, while continuing to whip the mix. Once you achieve peaks, bring your cake out of the freezer. Now spread a thick layer of whipped cream on the top and sides of the cake.

Smoothen it using a scraper or spatula.

Let's add some frosting, and garnish it with chocolate syrup, sprinkles.
