To prepare the delicious Litti Chokha, first, roast the brinjal and tomato on the gas stove by keeping them on a stand and frequently flipping them so that they are properly cooked.

Peel off the boiled potato, brinjal, and tomato and mash them together. This becomes the base of Chokha.

Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, minced garlic, and salt to taste, along with a few drops of mustard oil and mix well.

Preparation and cooking time for the Chokha is about 15-20 minutes.

Meanwhile, for Litti dough preparation, take a mixture of wheat flour, ajwain, salt, oil-ghee, butter, or refined oil.

Knead it well.

When the dough is ready, preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

Take the dough as big as chapati size and fill it with the Sattu mixture.

Now shape it in the form of a ball and continue repeating this process to make approximately 4-5 Littis.

Place the Littis in the oven and bake for 18 minutes at 180 degrees.

If not using the oven, cook on the gas stove over low heat until cooked through.

The browned outside and soft inside Littis were to be dipped in the flavourful Chokha.

Meanwhile, mix roasted gram flour with spices and herbs to prepare the Sattu filling.

Take the Litti out from the oven once they are ready and let them cool down for a couple of minutes.
